developed from farmland. First it became a royal park. It became a parish in
the late 17th century. Soho has been one of the main entertainment districts in
London since the 19th century. In the 20th century Soho was known for its sex
industry and its night life. Nowadays Soho is a fashionable district.
Soho is famous for its clubbing scene. You can find a lot of clubs such
as pubs to secret bars. In the nightlife of soho you can find a lot a gay bars.
You can find different people in the nightlife of soho. For example tourists,
bar crawlers, club kids, glamour kittens and gay-scene posers. Club 49 is a
popular choice with the Soho crowd. You can also find cool music venues with a
rock and roll history such as Borderline.
The London theatres are mostly around the West End. There are a lot of
theatres in Soho, such as Prince Edward Theatre and the Prince of Wales
Theatre. There are big-budget musicals and classic plays. Like quirky cabaret
and stand-up comedy. So there are enough options for everyone.
